About This Project

When God Became Mom was born from a quiet ache — the kind of longing that doesn’t quite fit into traditional theology. This site and the book it anchors were created to offer a new lens on the sacred: one rooted in nurture, nature, and the wisdom we often overlook. It isn’t a demand to believe, but an invitation to reflect.

The ideas shared here come from a life lived outside the usual margins — through hardship, deep self-inquiry, and love. Alexander Fipps, the author behind this work, has crafted both the website and the book to speak to anyone asking deeper questions about faith, purpose, or belonging. His story, though hinted at here, is fully explored within the pages of the book itself.

If something here resonates, The Book of Mom may hold the full conversation you’ve been missing. You’re invited to sit with it, as you are — no belief required.

I am looking forward to discussion. Clearly web design and publishing aren't my strongest attributes and I'm open to design suggestions as well.

You can download the full Part One of the book on the Learn page and you are free to distribute it as you see fit as long as you point folks back here.
